Wedding Venue costs in Orange County
Growing up in Orange County and starting my business here as really made me an expert as an Orange County wedding planner. I have educated myself with different venues in the area and understand the pricing for different venues as well. From luxury hotels to beachfront venues I have a list of beautiful venues that I help select for my clients.
Specializing my services to include finding the perfect venue for my clients we first go over overall budget. I always advise my clients we’d ideally stay around 45-55% of their overall budget for venue, catering, staffing, and the base rentals typically the venue provides. If the venue doesn’t provide one of these above we have to adjust the percentage that the venue allots to make sure we stay on budget.
Majority of venues in Orange County have venue rental fees of $5,000+ and catering minimum of at least $10,000+. Two of the biggest companies that have venues in Orange County are 24 Carrots and Jay’s Catering. They are both established companies that give the best service as well as provide a stunning venue, delicious catering, great staff, and a very enjoyable client experience.
If you are looking for a more luxury-wedding day your minimums will be a higher. The venue fee will be around $10,000+ and the catering minimum is around $50,000+. Of course with having your wedding at a luxury venue comes with a higher standard of service and experience for you and your guests. From more premier base line alcohol packages to higher end rentals the venue provides.
Some of my favorite venues to work at are Rancho Las Lomas, Franciscan Gardens, Estate of Second, Grand Gimeno, and The Casino San Clemente. On the more luxury side I like to work with Pelican Hill, The Montage, The Ranch at Laguna Beach, The Ritz Carlton in Laguna Niguel, Pasea Hotel & Spa, The Lido House, Surf and Sand Resort, Vea Newport, and private estates like Mesa Bella to name a few.
Each venue has it perks and likes to operate in a certain way and that’s where I come in. I am the perfect middleman for the couple and venue making sure every detail is taken care of before and on the day of.
