Santa Ana Country Club Reception

My stunning couple had their reception at Santa Ana Country Club. The brides family has been apart of the club since their kids were young and the kids grew up going there. So it was only fitting for my beautiful bride to want to get married there. Since it is a private country club you do have to be active members to get married there.

The couple decided to have their ceremony at their church Our Lady Queen of Angels Catholic Church. It was a beautiful traditional Catholic ceremony led by their priest. The church provided a coordinator for their ceremony but I always like to attend as well to make sure everything is taken care of.

A little about Catholic church ceremonies you may not know. The church has very strict rules and regulations you have to follow to get married there. Your photographers have designated areas they are allowed to be and can not pass that certain area. Mass is typically a full hour long. Your bridal party does not stand up there with you during the ceremony they actually sit down. Your priest will facilitate and walk you through the whole ceremony and tell you when you need to do something. It is typically a very well oiled machine.

After their wedding ceremony was over everyone headed to Santa Ana Country Club for cocktail hour and then the reception portion of the night. The week of the wedding we saw rain in the forecast so a few days before we made the executive decision to have the club bring out the tent for their reception. We had to shift the live band to be in doors and just enjoy the family style dinner outside under the tent.

The tent actually turned out stunning and really tied everything together. They had 160 guests and went with a family style meal. The chef at the club customized their menu and made sure it was Italian inspired as much as the couple wanted. The guests were so happy as they started off with a salad course, then 2 different pastas, and then two different proteins with veggies. Their guests left with a full happy belly!

We did all of the speeches during the dinner portion of the reception. Also they had two live musicians from the band play during it as well. It created the perfect ambiance for a beautiful dinner.

After dinner was over we moved guests inside to enjoy a live band and the dessert portion of the night. Every one was on the dance floor having the best time! There is nothing like a live band to really get your wedding guests on the dance floor.

At the end of the night the couple was happy and their guests left wanting it to not end. It was a memorable wedding! I highly recommend having a wedding at Santa Ana County Club as the whole club staff, management, and chef were absolutely incredible to work with. I look forward to working another wedding with them in the future!
